Diocesan Cycle of Prayer

Every Sunday at all services we pray for our Bishop and the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross.

This Cycle of Prayer covers our own diocese; the dioceses of the Church of Ireland; the Anglican Cycle of Prayer and the Porvoo Prayer Diary.

It is supposed that each parish or union of parishes will also have its own local cycle of petitions/concerns and topics for prayer.

Whilst prayer is not just a matter of 'lists' - a cycle of prayer can be used as an aide memoir for our own prayers and as a link with the wider church of which we are a part.
