The Right Reverend Andrew Orr

has been consecrated Bishop of the United Dioceses of Cork, Cloyne and Ross on 30 September 2026.

Ordained deacon in 1992 and priest in 1993, Bishop Andrew has held a variety of parish roles across Ireland, including incumbencies in Castlecomer, Castleknock, and Tullow, and previously served as Archdeacon of Ossory and Leighlin. In his ministry in Cork, Cloyne and Ross he was Chaplain to Midleton College, Priest–in–Charge of Youghal Union, Honorary Canon of St Fin Barre’s Cathedral, Cork, and Archdeacon of Cork, Cloyne and Ross. Beyond parish life, he is actively involved in church and environmental work, formerly chairing Eco–Congregation Ireland and representing the Church of Ireland in international environmental networks.

Bishop Andrew and his wife, the Revd Susan Green, have three adult children, Rachel, Patrick and Ciara, and a grandson.
