Chaplaincy at Bandon Grammar School runs alongside and in rhythm with school life, providing spiritual, pastoral and sacramental care to all students, teachers and staff.
The chaplaincy office is situated in the Deane Building where the chaplain, Anne Skuse, operates an open door policy and is on hand to share the journey with students and staff.
The small chapel located in the Williams Building, provides the school community with a sacred space in which to sit, reflect or pray quietly. The Eucharist is celebrated on the first Wednesday of every month and other services are held there throughout the year as well as in larger spaces around the school. These services mark out the Church’s year.
School assemblies are held every Tuesday.
The school works closely with the local parish and with the Diocese. Local clergy and the Bishop are regular visitors to the school.
